What's Best NiceHash Miner Vs NiceHash Legacy Miner

What's Best NiceHash Miner Vs NiceHash Legacy Miner

NiceHash Miner
As we all know, this package only support NVIDIA graphics cards. So problem with that. It's easy to setup and easy to understand. If you are planning just with Nvidia Cards, not AMD+Nvidia. You are good to go.

Downside:
Every power outage, you have manually start the NiceHash app. Or Setup a windows TASK to automatically start your miner at startup. It's really annoying!

NiceHash Ligacy Miner
If you are planing to mine both AMD+Nvidia card in the same system, you have no option to use the legacy miner. On NiceHash website, it says, it's for advanced user. But in my opinion it's the best and easy one.

Benefits:
AMD+Nvidia in same system.
It can perform auto start at system startup, if you have a power failure.
It can hide both mining window and miner window.
Just go to settings and tick those box.

Forget the rig, unless major power issue.

My Opinion:
NiceHash Legacy Miner is the best, whether only mining AMD or NVIDIA cards.

AMD Radeon RX560 Not Mining, Most Probable Solution

AMD Radeon RX560 Not Mining, Most Probable Solution
Problem:
My RX560 graphics card was not working for 2 weeks. Nicehash Ligacy Miner saying " One of your video card is not supporting current driver software"
The error msg also showing which videoPNP device is not working. It's suggested a video card driver reinstall and restart my computer.

Solutions:

No One: First I uninstalled the Crimson ReLive Edition Beta for Blockchain Compute Software and install the regular driver package.

Result: No luck, same problem.

No Two:
Change the PCIx slot

Result: Same problem

No Three:
Update the whole Windows

Result: No luck

No Four:
At this point I was hopeless, but then I realize, this card was Bios modded.
So tried to reinstall the original Bios to the card but lost the old backup file. Now, through a google search I was able find a original Bios file of my RX560 from HERE
Installed with these procedure Online, Patched, signed.

Result: SUCCESS, It was working again like new.

What's the take here: Don't always Bios Modification works. If you think your graphics is dead and you really did a Bios Mod, then definitely try this for once before throwing your card.
